JOSEPH HOWARD BENSON, “Joe”, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1884, according to his US Military draft registration for WWII. At that time he was an employee of the Alaska Railroad and his address was Honolulu, Alaska.
He may be the same Joe Benson who was living in Seattle in 1920 and working as a fuel truck driver.
THere is no record of him having had a wife or children.
He died in Seldovia on May 5, 1945 and is buried in the Seldovia City Cemetery in Plot #178.
