Bertha Cleghorn, daughter of James Naismith Cleghorn and Maria SHITACHKA Cleghorn, was born in Seldovia in 1908 and died in Seldovia in 1927. She was first buried in the old Russian Orthodox Cemetery near the beach, but her grave was part of the re-burial in the City Cemetery as part of the urban renewal project after the 1964 earthquake. She is buried in cemetery plot #1611.
