JOSEPHINE MAY FISHER , listed as “Mrs. Luke Fisher” was born about 1908 in Illinois. She married Luke Claypool Fisher in about 1934. They lived in Stockton, in 1940. Luke operated some salmon setnet sites in Cook Inlet for a Mr. Everett in 1942-1944. He owned the Seldovia Hotel at some point also. Josephine died in 1954 in Seldovia and is buried in the Seldovia City Cemetery in Plot #101. Luke died in Anchorage in October 1979 and is buried in the Anchorage Memorial Cemetery.
