Irenia Jacobsen, wife of Nels John Jacobsen was born in Alaska about 1868 and died in Seldovia before 1936. She was first buried in the old Russian Orthodox Cemetery near the beach, but her grave was part of the re-burial in the City Cemetery as part of the urban renewal project after the 1964 earthquake. She is buried in Seldovia City Cemetery plot #1608, in the highest row of the cemetery.
