Martin Peterson, Jr was the son of Martin and Lottie Howard Peterson. He was a brother to Harry, Majora, Freda and a half-brother of Fred, Ethel, Ellen and Barbara Nyman. He was born April 22, 1931 in Seldovia and died July 5, 1941 in Seldovia as a result of drowning. He is buried in the Seldovia City Cemetery in plot 49.5.
