William Schorr, “Bill” was born in Columbus, Georgia on December 1, 1949. He lived in Eagle River and Seldovia
On February 13, 2010, Bill was skiing alone near the top of a ridge near Eagle River while a friend waited near the bottom for his arrival. A witness saw the slide begin from his home. Schorr’s body was recovered about 45 minutes later.
